14th Edition of the European Museum Night (EMN 2018)

The European Museum Night, an initiative set up by the French Ministry of Culture and Communication in 2005, is being held on 19 May, where museums from all over Europe open doors and provide visitors with attractive experiences outside of the usual offer.

As in previous years, and for the 12th consecutive year, the Quinta das Cruzes Museum participates in this event, offering a broad operating schedule and a series of events to the general public. This event counts on the participation of more than 1300 museums including 6 national museums. The interactive map of participants can be found at the following address: https://nuitdesmusees.culturecommunication.gouv.fr/Programme#/pinpoints/19353664

The Museum will normally be open from 10:00 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. and from 2:00 p.m. to 5:30 p.m., reopening at 7:00 p.m. to start the European Museum Night celebrations closing at 12:00 p.m.

During the European Museum Night celebrations, entrance fees and activities will be free, but some scheduled activities require prior registration.
